The Line Hotel

Overview

The Line is a Los Angeles collaboration by The Sydell Group (NoMad NY), Chef Roy Choi (Kogi, A-Frame, Sunny Spot), the Houston Brothers (No Vacancy, La Descarga, Pour Vous), designer Sean Knibb and Art and Design Collective, Poketo. The hotel sits just 3 miles from Downtown and 3 miles from Hollywood on Wilshire Boulevard at the Normandie Metro stop alongside Koreatown’s famous pre-1940 brick colonial revival buildings in a neighborhood that’s working and playing 24 hours a day thanks to Southern California’s highest concentration of restaurants, bars and round the clock businesses. The hotel’s 388 guestrooms and suites feature floor ceiling windows, complimentary wireless internet access, flat screen TV, large work desk, docking station and media hub for smart device to TV connectivity. The hotel will feature an outdoor pool, 24-hour room service, 24 hour fitness center, International Newstand and design boutique. The bike program will feature Linus bicycles that will be provided for guest use on a complimentary basis. The Line’s restaurant and bar offerings celebrate Koreatown’s unique history as both the historic center of Hollywood’s Golden Age and its current role as dynamic, multicultural urban hub. Chef Roy Choi oversees the hotel’s three dining concepts-all of which express a distinctive aspect of his culinary philosophy. The Houston Brothers bring their definitive cocktails and their knack for creating atmospheric, nostalgic spaces to the hotel’s discreetly tucked away lounge bar. Featuring 12 flexible and uniquely designed spaces, The Line can accommodate meetings up to 400 guests and special events up to 1,000 making it an ideal location for both corporate and social events.
