Traveling to Los Angeles is one of the most scenic journeys in the country. Major highways that connect LA to the rest of the U.S. include Interstate 5, which runs south through San Diego to Tijuana, and north through the Pacific Northwest to Canada; Interstate 10, the southernmost coast-to-coast Interstate Highway in the U.S., going to Jacksonville, Florida; and U.S. Route 101, which travels up California’s Central Coast to San Francisco, Oregon and Washington. Several Amtrak train routes service Los Angeles. The Pacific Surfliner connects San Diego, Oxnard, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo with LA. En route daily between Seattle and LA, the Coast Starlight passes through Oregon, Sacramento, the Bay Area and Santa Barbara. The Southwest Chief runs daily between Chicago and LA, crossing Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas and Missouri. The Sunset Limited travels between Louisiana and California. China Southern Airlines
最为令人振奋的是中国南方航空公司在2012年10月12日将使用A380投入运营广州－洛杉矶－广州航线。该航班从7月26日起正式上线销售。这是中美航线上首次由A380超大型客机执飞的航班，也是中国由空中“巨无霸”A380执飞的首条远程定期国际航班。7月份最新统计数据表明，目前该航线客座率超过了90%，前景喜人。南航有关负责人高兴地表示，广州－洛杉矶航线目前由波音777执飞，更换A380后该航线的单程座位数将由原来的282个增加到502个。经济舱有424个座位，公务舱70个，头等舱8个，其中公务舱和头等舱都能实现平躺。新航线、新沟通，中美两个大国深度交流又增加了一个良好平台。

Fall Cruising at the Port of Los Angeles
The 2012 fall cruise season kicks into high gear at the Port of Los Angeles. More than 10 cruise lines including several World Cruise Center-based ships will sail from San Pedro on Mexico Riviera, Coastal California, Hawaii, trans-Panama Canal and Tahiti/South Pacific vacation voyages, and additional luxury liners will call at San Pedro on international itineraries.
