November’s American Heart Association Convention Will Be 2nd Largest Show Ever Held in LA

The American Heart Association convention, taking place Nov. 3-7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the largest medical convention Los Angeles has ever hosted and the 2nd largest-ever of all show types for the destination.  AHA is expecting more than 25,000 attendees from five continents, with nearly 50% of attendees coming from international markets.  The convention will deliver $41 million in economic impact to the LA economy.  Los Angeles has hosted four medical shows this year including American Association for Clinical Chemistry, American Academy of Periodontology and American Nurses Association.  In total, all 4 medical shows will account for 56,000 attendees and an estimated $126 million in economic impact for the destination.
