Lionel Bringuier kicks off the Hollywood Bowl’s classical season with a program featuring spitfire pianist Yuja Wang. Concerts by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel and Bowl favorite Bramwell Tovey include the music of Orff and Bernstein, as well as a special live presentation of 2001: A Space Odyssey and a visit by American Ballet Theatre.

Bramwell Tovey opens the series with the music of Rachmaninoff. Music Director Gustavo Dudamel and the ebullient Nicholas McGegan return, and violinist Joshua Bell makes his conducting debut.

This series features Music Director Gustavo Dudamel as well as Assistant Conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, following her phenomenal Bowl debut last year. Chinese pianist Yundi makes his own Bowl debut, and favorite conductors Lionel Bringuier and Bramwell Tovey will also lead delightful programs with Audra McDonald, American Ballet Theatre and more!

Music Director Gustavo Dudamel leads the LA Phil in an evening of Mozart. Another evening features Tan Dun’s film music for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero conducted by the composer, and virtuoso artist Jean-Yves Thibaudet plays Gershwin.

Sheryl Crow performs with orchestra, and the Bowl celebrates Bugs Bunny at the Symphony. The LA Phil brings the music from E.T. to life with the film.
