Attending a concert at the landmark Hollywood Bowl is one of LA’s most popular summer traditions. The 2015 Subscription Series is the 93rd year of the perennial favorite, featuring a wide range of pop, classical, and jazz performances. TU1: July 7, 21 | Aug. 4, 18 | Sep. 1
Lionel Bringuier kicks off the Hollywood Bowl’s classical season with a program featuring spitfire pianist Yuja Wang. Concerts by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel and Bowl favorite Bramwell Tovey include the music of Orff and Bernstein, as well as a special live presentation of 2001: A Space Odyssey and a visit by American Ballet Theatre.

TU2: July 14, 28 | Aug. 11, 25 | Sep. 8
Bramwell Tovey opens the series with the music of Rachmaninoff. Music Director Gustavo Dudamel and the ebullient Nicholas McGegan return, and violinist Joshua Bell makes his conducting debut.

TH1: July 9, 23 | Aug. 6, 20 | Sep. 3
This series features Music Director Gustavo Dudamel as well as Assistant Conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, following her phenomenal Bowl debut last year. Chinese pianist Yundi makes his own Bowl debut, and favorite conductors Lionel Bringuier and Bramwell Tovey will also lead delightful programs with Audra McDonald, American Ballet Theatre and more!

TH2: July 16, 30 | Aug. 13, 27 | Sep. 10
Music Director Gustavo Dudamel leads the LA Phil in an evening of Mozart. Another evening features Tan Dun’s film music for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero conducted by the composer, and virtuoso artist Jean-Yves Thibaudet plays Gershwin.

For unpredictable, cross-cultural, musically adventurous, and unique concerts, there’s nothing like the Bowl’s two KCRW World Festival series on Sunday evenings.

SU1: June 21| Aug. 16 | Sep. 20
Electronica icons Underworld kick off this series, which also includes Empire of the Sun, our annual Reggae Night with Ziggy and Stephen Marley, and more.

SU2: June 28 | Aug. 30 | Sep. 27
Basement Jaxx returns to the Hollywood Bowl, and Grace Jones and Future Islands close the series.

All-star celebrations of Frank Sinatra and bass pioneer Jaco Pastorius are not to be missed! Plus, evenings with John Fogerty and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue round out this series.

The contemporary grooves of Jamie Cullum, the Latin sounds of Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, and the versatile Pink Martini come together for one amazing series.

Harry Connick Jr. and his big band open the series with romantic ballads and pop classics. LA Phil Music Director Gustavo Dudamel conducts the beloved "Tchaikovsky Spectacular." Sheryl Crow performs with orchestra, and the Bowl celebrates Bugs Bunny at the Symphony. The LA Phil brings the music from E.T. to life with the film.
