On the cover of its January 2014 issue, GQ Magazine names Downtown Los Angeles the “New Capital of Cool in America.” Writer Brett Martin looks at the ongoing Downtown LA renaissance, an explosion of growth that’s creating America’s Next Great City and a vibrant neighborhood “as electrifying and gritty as New York in the '70s.”
