Located less than a mile and half from LAX, free shuttles run 24 hours a day to and from the hotel, every 15 to 20 minutes. Job interviews are frequently held in the lobby.
Unexpected bonus: The onsite JW’s Steakhouse was recognized with an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine for its distinguished wine list. It is the only Marriott hotel in California to have accomplished this feat in 2012.

Four Points by Sheraton LAX
Owned by SBE Entertainment, a popular L.A.-based lifestyle company, this is the largest Four Points hotel in the United States. Three separate towers hold a total of 573 guest rooms and suites. There are 17 meeting and banquet rooms, with about 20,000 square feet of total available space. The ballroom opens onto the poolside cabanas and bar. Complimentary shuttles run back and forth to LAX 24 hours a day, every 15 to 20 minutes.
Unexpected bonus: Brewster’s pub, located off the lobby, features more than 100 different beers, with six taps dedicated to local brews. Special tastings for groups are available.

Hilton Los Angeles Airport
This Hilton property is not only the largest hotel near the airport, it’s also one of the largest in L.A.—period. Guest rooms and suites total 1,234 over 17 floors. There is 55,000 square feet of meeting space, including the Plaza Ballroom, which alone encompasses nearly 14,000 square feet. Located only half a mile from LAX, free shuttle service runs 24 hours a day, every 20 to 25 minutes.
Unexpected bonus: The Ocean Express Shuttle takes guests to Manhattan Beach and stops at a couple shopping centers on the way back. It runs daily every 30 minutes from 9am, with the final shuttle of the night leaving Manhattan Beach at 10:30pm. The cost is only $5 roundtrip.

Embassy Suites LAX North
While this Embassy Suites has only 222 guest rooms, nearly all of them are two-room suites. Special rates apply to day-use rooms, which are available from 10am to 5pm, but must be booked via telephone. There are seven different meetings rooms, with a total of 5,000 square feet of meeting space. A complimentary airport shuttle runs to and from LAX every 15 to 20 minutes, 24 hours a day.
Unexpected bonus: Like all Embassy Suites hotels, a complimentary full breakfast is included in the rate; as is the evening Manager’s Reception, which offers free beer, wine and cocktails.

Custom Hotel
Part of the Joie de Vivre boutique hotel group, the Custom Hotel is an entirely different type of airport hotel. Located a bit further from LAX, It’s also on the smaller side, with only 250 rooms over 14 floors, making it better suited to smaller groups. There are eight designated meeting areas, spanning 9,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space. Located in the main lobby, the Layover Lounge features communal tables with power outlets (for all your devices) and seating hubs for impromptu meetings. A complimentary shuttle departs the hotel every 30 minutes from 5am to 2am; airport pickups are also free, but must be phoned in from baggage claim.
Unexpected bonus: For guests who need to blow off steam following a long work day, or simply want to kill time while waiting for a flight, the Transonic Gaming Lounge offers rentals of an Xbox or Wii for a small deposit.
