From nightlife and culture to hotels and shopping, there's plenty to do and see in West Hollywood. Visitors with limited time, however, can still get a chance to see the city's highlights in a quick 24-hour visit. Read on for a round-up of some of West Hollywood's must-sees and most popular stops.

Sunset Strip
Cruise down the boulevard where famous rock stars have dined, stayed and played for decades. Enjoy a hearty stack of pancakes at Mel's Drive-In, then head to Sunset Plaza's shops before passing by legendary haunts like the Viper Room and the Oscar party-renowned Sunset Tower Hotel.

The Abbey
The place to see and be seen, it's a legendary gay bar that has racked up accolades for years, including Best Gay Bar in the World and Best Gay Bar in America by top publications like Logo and Out. The Abbey bosts several bars and lounges, a popular happy hour and a thriving social scene for people from every persuasion.

Pacific Design Center
A mammoth trio of colorful buildings on the corner of Melrose and San Vicente, the Pacific Design Center is home to over 130 interior design showrooms and art galleries, as well as a free-to-the-public outpost of MOCA - the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Santa Monica Boulevard
The most pedestrian-friendly street in West Hollywood, famed Santa Monica Boulevard is host to a massive concentration of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops, including a bevy of gay-friendly businesses. Park the car and explore this section of town on-foot - it's easily walkable and fun to explore.
