Diseñado por los arquitectos Diller Scofidio + Renfro, quienes son muy reconocidos a nivel mundial, el museo contará con un total de 120,000 pies cuadrados en un edificio de tres niveles incluyendo un espacio de 50,000 para una galería de exhibiciones en dos de los niveles, un salón para conferencias con capacidad para 200 personas y un lobby público con espacio para presentar adelantos de las exposiciones y una tienda del museo.
